ABOUT VANESSA BRUNICARDI

Vanessa Brunicardi was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She spent her entire youth studying things she didn't like (statistics, administration, graphic design) and went on to work for years as an art director with several renowned worldwide advertising agencies.

Vanessa's interest and love for ink began many years ago. The urge to pursue her art in this medium kept growing inside her, so, at the beginning of 2016 she quit the corporate world and became a tattoo artist. Though talented, she still felt something was missing.

After months of leaving permanent marks on people she found her true passion: mixed media art. She lives for it now, mixing her day to day emotions with experiences from her past experiences. Vanessa combines mediums and artistic techniques, creating visually cohesive artworks that emotionally draw the viewer in. She has a keen interest in antique, vintage portraits -  the sense of and old time that is gone forever, only living on through a piece of paper. This influence is strongly visible in her art.

Vanessa is currently based out of Mexico City, Mexico.
