ABOUT SADIE WEIS

Sadie Weis is a multi-media artist working in the disciplines of installation, sculpture, painting, printmaking, and video with influences of the spiritual, the occult, magic, and science fiction. Her work often crosses genres as she combines elements of creation and fine arts, found objects, graffiti, and science.

Sadie was born in Salina, Kansas and studied painting and printmaking at the University of Kansas. She has exhibited internationally In Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the United States. She transferred her practice to Berlin, Germany after being awarded an artist residency at Dada Post Gallery and studio program.

Sadie continues to live and work in Berlin, and is currently preparing for a Residency at the Arteles Creative Center in Haukijärvi, Finland.
